Gracie is our new masked deadgrass girl from solid hunting ("meat dog") lines - basically a total outcross to both the current field trial and show lines. She has a lot of "go" with a huge water entry and an intense drive to retrieve. She is a very powerful swimmer. She loves her birds, and has been hunted on ducks and geese. She already has earned her HRC Started Hunting Retriever title. She is very sweet & loving with her family, but reserved at first with strangers until she gets to know them. She has that classic "chessie grin" that she loves to show us when she is excited!

In addition to hunting we plan to run Gracie in some hunt tests in 2010 and will also be trialing her in rally & obedience. She made her DockDogs debut in early Feb, earning her Senior title (SJ-N), and won 2nd Place in the Finals - all in her first weekend of competition! Her personal best was 17'7". She also earned her Canine Good Neighbor test in March 2010. We look forward to getting her out to some more events later this year!
